CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (WSVN) — After their disappearance set off a missing child alert, three Coral Springs children have been found safe.
According to officials, 9-year-old Gaetano, 8-year-old Domenic and 3-year-old Nia were found at around 1 a.m., Thursday, at a hotel in Deerfield Beach with their father.
The three children had been missing for over 24 hours. According to police, their mother said she allowed them to go to dinner with their father, Mario Ruggiero, but they never returned.
Investigators said the last clue they had pinged Ruggiero’s phone near the area of the Festival Flea Market Mall in Pompano Beach.
Ruggiero is not expected to face any criminal charges.
