A Santa Fe artist will donate the proceeds from one of the paintings, sold at Indian Market, to the family of an 11-year-old girl who was kidnapped and killed earlier this year.Kathy Piccione will donate the proceeds of the painting, $6,000, to the family of Ashlynne Mike.Eleven-year-old Ashlynne was kidnapped, sexually assaulted and killed on Navajo Nation land in New Mexico on May 2.Piccione said the custom-framed, 30- by 40-inch oil painting, "Never Forgotten," features a Native American girl in custom garb.It was sold to an Arkansas woman.Piccione said she started the painting a month before Ashlynne was killed and didn't know why she was moved to do it until the incident occurred.
