KATHMANDU: A person died after being hit by a motorcycle in Karyabinayak Municipality-3 of Lalitpur district recently.

The deceased has been identified as Atma Ram Chandra (53), a resident of Reliance Colony in Lalitpur district.

Chandra was critically injured when the motorcycle (Ba 81 Pa 9392) hit him at Waiwai Chok in Bhainsepati, according to police.

The critically injured Chandra succumbed to the injuries while being rushed to the Alka Hospital, said police.

Meanwhile, police have detained local Chandan Maharjan (19), the biker, for further investigation, said police.
