Şatana becomes Doğan Group’s new vice CEO Experienced executive Yağmur Şatana has been appointed as a board member and vice chairman of the executive board of Doğan Group, the holding said in a statement on Feb. 20. 

“Yağmur Şatana has led many important change and transformation projects throughout his career in many different areas such as balance sheet management, risk management, growth, project financing and in the sector, and I believe that we will achieve very important success both in our current business and in our new business,” Doğan Group Chairwoman Begümhan Doğan Faralyalı said in the statement. 

Şatana, born in 1963, graduated from TED Ankara College and Gazi University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Department of Finance / Economics.

He started his career in the banking sector in 1987 and worked for Finansbank A.Ş. and Fiba Factoring at various management levels. 

Starting in 2008, he served as chairman, vice president and board member of Fiba and Fina Holding.

Şatana, who served as the chief executive of Demirören Group for one year in 2011, joined Kazancı Holding A.Ş. in 2012 as a board member and served as a chairman, deputy chairman and board member in holding companies in the fields of energy, power generators, natural gas distribution, power distribution, tourism, agriculture and food and beverages. 
He is married and has a daughter.
