A Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) activist was hacked in Palakkad today hours after a bomb attack on Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) office in Kozhikode on Thursday.

According to reports, the incident occurred in Elappulli area of Palakkad district. In the complaint filed with the local police, three BJP activists have been named. No arrest has been made so far, and the police said they are investigating the matter.

ATTACKS ON RSS, CPM OFFICES

Late on Thursday night, a CPM office was attacked in Kozhikode just hours after RSS office was bombed in Kozhikode's Nadapuram area.

The CPM's office in Vishnumangalam area was set on fire by unidentified men. No one was hurt in the incident. The police have registered a case and probing the matter.

Four RSS workers were injured on Thursday after some unknown persons hurled a crude bomb at the RSS office near Nadapuram in the district. The injured were admitted to the Kozhikode Medical College Hospital (KMCH).

The attack took place hours after an RSS functionary in Madhya Pradesh announced a Rs one crore bounty for beheading Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

Kundan Chandravat, 'Sah Prachar Pramukh' of RSS in Madhya Pradesh's Ujjain, announced the reward to avenge the killing of its workers in Kerala, allegedly by CPM workers.

"The Kerala chief minister is killing our RSS workers who want to take this country forward. I will pay Rs one crore to anyone who beheads him even if I have to sell my house," Chandravat was seen saying in a video, which has gone viral.
