You can build a flying airship in The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild.

Because of course you can.

That's the beauty of Nintendo's new game. You can do all sorts of amazing things, and you get the feeling that much of the time you're doing something that the game's developers didn't even think of.

Breath of the Wild’s technical director Takuhiro Dohta told The Verge: “We included the unexpected in our expectations.” That's kind of beautiful, and really explains the developers' mentality when creating this game.

So naturally people are attaching Octo Balloons (which can be stuck to items to make them float) to rafts like so:

That's from YouTuber BeardBear's playthrough of the game. It's pretty clever.

And it's one of the reasons I love this game so much. You have all these tools to use, and so many ways to use them. Every obstacle has multiple solutions. Everyone's experience will be different and unexpected.
