Another suspect held for BJP man’s murder in Chitradurga

The district police in association with Bengaluru city police nabbed an accused involved in the murder of Kittaganahalli Srinivas.

CHITRADURGA: The district police in association with Bengaluru city police nabbed an accused involved in the murder of Kittaganahalli Srinivas (42) alias Vasu and a BJP member of Bommasandra town municipal council on March 14.

The police, who launched a state-wide search operation, arrested Satish, a prime accused from Hoovinakatte Woddarahatti in Holalkere taluk.

It was also found that another accused Girish is moving in and around Chitradurga and a team has been formed to arrest him, said police sources. It also said Satish of Hoovinakatte was a habitual offender and a rowdy-sheeter. He was involved in a murder case at Shiddlaghatta of Kolar district and also several other criminal cases under Holalkere police station limits.

Satish, after the murder, took shelter in the village which he left six years ago. Another accused Gym Manja is still at large.
