SRIKAKULAM:In a tragedy, a four-year-old boy died of asphyxiation after he fell down in a septic tank in the backyard of his house at Dunnuru in Mandasa mandal on Wednesday morning.
According to the information, the boy, identified as D Praveen Kumar, the eldest son of Swathi and Krishna, both daily wagers, slipped into the tank while he was playing with his cousin Jaideep at around 8 am.
Krishna went to Hyderabad a few days ago looking for works. On Wednesday, Swathi, after finishing her daily chores, left for her work. Praveen, who was playing with Jaideep at the backyard of the house, accidentally slipped into a septic tank and a scared Jaideep neither raised an alarm nor informed anyone about the incident.
