'I'd like to take a baseball bat to their teeth' - Italy legend absolutely hates dressing room Instagram videos

Daniele De Rossi is known for taking no prisoners on the pitch - and the Roma star was similarly combative in a recent magazine interview.
De Rossi sat down with Undici magazine in Italy, with the World Cup winner covering a wide ranger of topics, but it was his comments on modern footballers that got most people talking.
De Rossi has previously spoken of his admiration for fellow hard man Roy Keane, so it is no surprise that the 33-year-old shares the Irishman's views on the use of social media in the dressing room.
However, even Keane hasn't been this hostile towards players sharing videos of the dressing room on Instagram.
“When we started out, it was all different, that was 20 years ago," De Rossi told Undici.
"Now a 20-year-old will get into the first team and have more Instagram followers than Messi. When I was young, the older players would say ‘it wasn’t like in my day’ – that’s life and it always will be.
“Mind you, some of them irritate me too. When I see them do live Instagram videos from inside the locker room before a game, I’d like to take a baseball bat to their teeth… But they’re 18 years old and in 20 years’ time they will find themselves complaining about the youth of today."
