GUNTUR: Untimely rain lashed several parts of the district on Monday bringing respite to people from the scorching summer.
According to reports, Narasaraopet, Atchampet, Gurazala, Old Amaravati, Pedakurapadu, Krosuru and other mandals received rainfall.
The untimely rain hit normal life in Guntur city. Several roads and low-lying areas were inundated. Guntur West MLA M Venugopala Reddy along with the GMC officials inspected the inundated areas.
The GMC deployed workers to clear the stagnant rainwater on the roads.
