Two bought-leaf factories, based in Aravenu of Nilgiris, bagged prizes at the Golden Leaf India Award contest of Tea Board and United Planters’ Association of Southern India (UPASI). Vigneshwar Estate Tea Factory won all the five titles it contested for. Likewise, Darmona Tea Industry bagged the Golden Leaf India Award for the third consecutive year.
