Ramagundam in Telangana sizzles at 45 degree Celsius

Hyderabad:Telangana continued to reel under heat wave conditions with Ramagundam today recording the the highest maximum temperature of 45 degrees Celsius in the state, an IMD data said.

Ramagundam was followed by Nizamabad at 44 degrees Celsius.

Several other towns in the state recorded temperatures well above 40 degrees Celsius, IMD Hyderabad said in its report of maximum temperatures that was recorded at 1730 hours today.

Heat wave conditions are very likely to prevail at isolated places in all the districts of Telangana, it said.

In its forecast, the weather bureau said light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at isolated places.
