Two more held in gang-rape of tribal girls in Andhra Pradesh

The Chintapalle police on Tuesday arrested two more accused in the case of gang-rape of two minor tribal girls on May 20.

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Chintapalle police on Tuesday arrested two more accused in the case of gang-rape of two minor tribal girls on May 20. Another two,  reportedly from Visakhapatnam city, are still absconding. Police say that they are yet to get the reports of medical tests of the girls from the KGH. 

According to Chintapalle inspector Chandrasekhar, the accused have been identified as Munna and Sai Kumar, both natives of Narsipatnam in Visakhapatnam district. 

Munna works as a mechanic, while Sai Kumar is an unemployed youth. Police said that with this, a total of six persons have been arrested and remanded by the court.

Teams which have been constituted by the Chintapalle police are on hunt for the remaining two accused.
The medical tests of the victim girls has already been conducted at KGH last week. However, the Chintapalle police said that they are yet to receive the report.
