KIMS Hospitals unveils 350 bed facility at Ongole in Andhra Pradesh

City-based healthcare player KIMS Hospitals (Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences) on Thursday announced that it has inaugurated a 350-bed facility at Ongole in Prakasham district of Andhra Pradesh.

HYDERABAD: City-based healthcare player KIMS Hospitals (Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences) on Thursday announced that it has inaugurated a 350-bed facility at Ongole in Prakasham district of Andhra Pradesh.
The hospital has been set up at an investment of Rs 65 crore and with the addition of the Ongole facility, the total capacity of KIMS Hospitals in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh now stands at 2,150 beds.

The facility was inaugurated by Venkaiah Naidu, Union minister for urban development and information & broadcasting. The multi-specialty hospital has over 30 departments, including cardiology, nephrology, neurology, urology, general surgery, gastroenterology, pulmonology, ophthalmology, ENT, emergency and dental, among others.
Bhaskar Rao, MD and CEO, KIMS Hospitals said, “The Ongole facility would be managed by some of the best medical professionals comprising leading doctors, skilled specialists, paramedical and nursing staff. Keeping with KIMS traditions, this hospital will continue to keep its focus on our goal of personalized services, modern medical facilities and ensuring the services are within the reach of the common man.”
In addition to the existing facilities in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, KIMS Hospitals also plans to expand its footprint across the country by establishing hospitals in Guwahati, Bhubaneswar and Indore.
