This incident took place in outer Delhi, Kanjhawala where 4 minors between the age of 16 and 17 was apprehended for killing a 16 year old, Jatin on Friday.
According to Virender Singh Meena, additional DCP (outer), the main killer was not happy that Jatin was dating his cousin even after threatening them to call off their relationship. Their love affair was known to one of the accused two months ago. The brothers of the girl seeked help from three of his friends to kill Jatin in one of his abandoned house.
So, one evening when Jatin was out in the park for his daily workout, they persuaded Jatin to join them for fun. Once they reached the house, they had Marijuana together after which the four stated abusing him and told him that they were going to kill him for not listening to them. Hearing this, Jatin asked for his life. They taped his mouth, tied him to a chair and slit his throat. After committing the crime, the four left the house leaving Jatin bleed to die.
To escape, the four accused visited one of their telling him about the crime. They needed money to escape. But the friend, being a son of an assistant sub-inspector denied any help and told his father about the crime. The father immediately informed the police station about the murder after which the four accused were arrested as the identities were already known.
