Nevada has joined nine other states in support of President Donald Trump’s executive order on immigration and sanctuary cities.
The Nevada Independent reports Attorney General Adam Laxalt signed onto the brief out of concern about “sanctuary cities” in California and their potential impact on Nevada.
The amicus brief supports the president’s order, which withholds federal funding from cities and counties that declare themselves sanctuary cities or counties for undocumented workers.
