Emergency ambulance involved in crash on A82

An ambulance carrying a male casualty from a crash on the A82 at Invergarry was involved in a serious collision with a motorbike on the same road.
The crash with the motorbike happened two miles south of Urquhart Castle, at about 15:25 on Sunday.
The ambulance had earlier attended a crash on the A82 at Invergarry when a bus went off the road. Two people were injured in that incident.
The motorbike rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The other person injured in the earlier bus crash, a female, was flown to hospital by air ambulance.
Police have appealed for witnesses to the ambulance crash and are keen to speak to the driver of a small blue Fiat who may have been travelling south towards Invermoriston.
The road was reopened at 20:35.
The first crash happened near the Invergarry Hotel at about 13:30 and resulted in the 35-seater lying on its side.
An air ambulance was sent to the scene and the road was closed in both directions.
A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said everyone was out of the bus by the time their crews arrived on site.
Firefighters were involved in "stabilising the vehicle".
It not known how many passengers were travelling in the bus at the time.
