Ringo Starr, the legendary Beatles drummer, has his groove going in Colorado.

Starr, 77 and a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, has been hiking in Colorado and Tweeting his approval of the Centennial State this week.

“Another great day hiking in Colorado peace and love,” Starr, dressed in black pants with white trim, a black T-shirt and a black baseball cap, worn backward, said in a Twitter post on Wednesday.

Starr didn’t say where he was hiking in Colorado, but the setting of the photo is rural, with a one-lane road, high grasses, wooden rail fences and mountains in the background.

As of about 4 p.m., almost 4,000 people had liked the Tweet, with over 700 retweets and more than 200 comments.

Starr flashed a peace sign in the photo.

In 2014, Starr, and his wife, actress Barbara Bach, put their 15-acre Snowmass horse ranch, Shoot N’Starr Ranch, on the market for $3.85 million. They purchased the ranch in 1991 for $1.164 million. They are still listed as owners of the property.

Last week, comedian Bill Murray was in Denver, golfing, partying in LoDo and also posting on Twitter.
