Travel 'Bach and Beyond at the Abbey' at Friday concert

The community is invited to the annual “Bach and Beyond at the Abbey” organ concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 28, at Marmion Abbey, 850 Butterfield Road in Aurora.

The Fox Valley Chapter of the American Guild of Organists organizes this event.

Local church organists provide their best performances for music lovers to enjoy.

It is a musical treat concocted from a fine instrument, a beautiful, resonant space, and talented members of the chapter.

Bach is always well represented in the program, to which is added outstanding pieces that suit the organ or utilize additional musicians.

Come prepared to sing on the occasional hymn interspersed through the evening.

There is no charge to attend. A freewill offering will be taken. Parking is free at the abbey.
