TDP leader killed over property dispute?

ANANTAPUR: Valmiki Federation Corporation Director Boya Badanna (66) was brutally murdered by miscreants at Golla village in Kalyandurg mandal, while he was going for a morning walk on Thursday. 
According to the police, when Badanna reached Anjaneyaswamy Temple, miscreants attacked him with hunting sickles.

He was immediately shifted to the Rural Development Trust (RDT) hospital in Kalyandurg, where he was administered first aid. On the advice of doctors, he was shifted to district hospital, but he died on the way. The victim had disputes over ownership of a piece of land with some people in the village. The police suspect that it could be the motive for the murder.Badanna held many positions in the past, including ZPTC, mandal president, Agriculture Market Yard chairman. He is survived by his wife, three daughters and a son. Kalyandurg MLA Unnam Hanumantharaya Chowdary condemned the murder.

Meanwhile, tension prevailed at Golla village after the murder of Badanna. As a precaution, the police clamped Section 144 after setting up a police picket. DSP D S Venkata Ramana and CI C Chalapathi Rao are monitoring the situation in the village.
