Q: Why did you go into this career?

A: As cliché as it sounds, I’ve always been driven to help people. Early in my career it was saving critically injured trauma victims. Later it became and still is preventing and curing breast cancer. We recently added a wide array of cosmetic and anti-aging treatments so people can finally look their age or younger.

Q: What services do you provide?

A: TEPAS Healthcare offers several specialties including general surgery, infectious disease and wound care. TEPAS Vein Center offers non-surgical solutions for varicose veins. Though varicose veins are common, they are not normal, and left untreated lead to pain, swelling and non-healing ulcers.

I have been offering cosmetic services for over 10 years; however, this year expanded offerings and formally launched IMAMI Skin and Cosmetic Center. The new center offers Imami’s proprietary, non-invasive lunch hour face, neck and body Lyfts, body contouring, skin tightening, fat melting, PRP anti-aging treatments, laser hair removal and hair transplantation. IMAMI SKIN also offers medical spa services and their own medical grade skin products, “IMAMI MD.”

Q: When did you realize this was the right medical career path for you?

A: I realized in early childhood I was destined for a career in medicine. My father is a physician, academician, scientist, entrepreneur and family man all rolled in one. His ambitious approach to life served as a role model inspiring all three of his sons to become surgical leaders in their respective specialties. In fact at 83 my father still serves as a senior governor appointed County Medical Examiner in Florida.

Q: What’s the latest advancement in your field that will benefit patients?

A: Vaginal rejuvenation for women with mild urinary incontinence and atrophy is an innovative advancement in our field. The painless non-surgical treatments take less than 10 minutes. It is especially appealing to breast cancer survivors and other women unable to take hormonal replacement.

Q: Best advice for current and potential patients.

A: At both TEPAS and the IMAMI Skin and Cosmetic Center, we take pride in providing professional, compassionate, comprehensive, quality services. Call us now for a free cosmetic consultation.
