Tea productivity has increased in all the agro-climatic zones of The Nilgiris so far this calendar compared to 2016. Tea companies in the district have informed Tea Board that the productivity which is also a measure of the field yield has risen this calendar over the five-year for the same period as well, thereby confirming improved cultural practices.
