The International Mugham Center in Baku hosted an event dedicated to the 70th anniversary of India Independence Day.

Indian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Sanjay Rana, addressing the event, said that Azerbaijan and India are united by close relations of friendship and cooperation.

The ambassador stressed that cooperation between the two countries covers political, economic, social, humanitarian, cultural and other spheres.

Then the guests of the evening enjoyed a vivid concert program.

Kathak, one of the major Indian classical dance, was brilliantly performed by two talented dancers Anupam Kaushik and Tullika Pal.

Later, khanende Almakhanym Ahmadli performed Azerbaijani mugham. The fantastic sounds of the Azerbaijani mugham amazed guests of the event.
