4 dead, 18 injured in two accidents in UP's Firozabad

As many as five people lost their lives while 18 suffered injuries in two separate cases of road accidents between Monday night and Tuesday afternoon in Firozabad. One of the injured was stated to be in critical condition and had been referred to an Agra hospital for treatment.

AGRA: At least four people lost their lives while 18 suffered injuries in two separate cases of road accidents between Monday night and Tuesday afternoon in Firozabad. One of the injured was stated to be in critical condition and had been referred to an Agra hospital for treatment.
According to police, nine residents from Madhya Pradesh, along with a driver, were travelling in an SUV which met with an accident with a tractor on Etah-Tajpur Road around 4am on Tuesday resulting in the death of three people.

Locals gathered at the spot and took the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment. The deceased were identified as Arvind Rathore, Gopal Sharma and their driver Dakha Nayak.
The duo with their friends and relatives had gone to Soron, Kasganj to take a dip in river Ganga. The accident took place on the way back as the driver fell asleep and hit a stationary vehicle after losing control of the vehicle. The impact was so extreme that the front portion of the four-wheeler in which the group was travelling was completely destroyed.
In the second accident, which took place on Monday late night, 26-year-old Agra resident Amit Saxena riding a bike hit a divider and died on the spot in Tundla, while his friend, who was riding pillion, suffered injuries.
