Nirbhaya rerun in Birbhum

SURI: In a Nirbhaya-like incident, a homemaker from Sainthia was brutally raped by three men on Sunday night. The survivor stays alone as her husband, a daily worker, is employed in a different state.
According to the cops, the survivor said three men had inserted a bottle into her genitals after raping her.
According to sources, on Saturday night, an altercation took place between the woman and one of the accused, who was acquainted with her.
She was initially taken to Sainthia hospital and later shifted to Suri. No formal complaint was lodged till late on Monday but cops have detained a suspect and are looking for two others.
