Unable to bear ragging by seniors Mancherial girl who consumed acid dies

The girl student of social welfare residential school for girl at Luxettipet succumbed while undergoing treatment at a corporate hospital in Hyderabad.

MANCHERIAL:  The girl student of social welfare residential school for girl at Luxettipet, who consumed acid allegedly unable to bear the ragging by seniors, succumbed while undergoing treatment at a corporate hospital in Hyderabad. The condition of another girl is also said to be serious. The two class VIII students of the residential school consumed poison on September 8 and were being treated at Yashoda Hospital in Secunderabad.

Around 2.15 pm on Thursday, one of the girl, Ch Sainidhi died, the hospital announced. Sainidhi and another girl, C Sirisha, consumed acid from the laboratory. The school authorities rushed them to local government hospital of Mancherial and then to MGM Hospital Warangal and finally to Yashoda hospital Hyderabad. Sainidhi’s father Ch Ramanna, said the negligence of the principal had led to the incident.
