  • Tuesday, September 19, 2017

Bridge Christian Church concludes its sixth annual family movie series, Movies in the Park at Dark, on Saturday, Sept. 30 at Heritage Park.   The free movie is about a former scientist who is taken away from his family and then becomes the Empire’s lead engineer for the most powerful weapon in the galaxy, the Death Star.

The movie begins at 7:30 p.m. and will be shown on a large inflatable screen at Heritage Park.  The event is free and open to the public.  Popcorn and drinks will be available for purchase.  Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the show.  The movie will be cancelled for inclement weather.

Heritage Park is located at 1428 Jenkins Road in Chattanooga.  The 22-acre park has a walking track, playground, picnic tables, bocce ball court, public art and an off-leash dog park.

Bridge Christian Church is a non-denominational, independent Christian Church that was founded in 2010.  Gatherings are held at 10:30 a.m. every Sunday at Westview Elementary School in the East Brainerd community of Chattanooga.  For more information about Bridge Christian Church, call the church at 423-463-0202 or visit the church’s Website at www.bridgechristian.org.
