From classics like “Romeo & Juliet” to irreverent productions like “Night of the Living Dead The Musical,” the theater season in Western Pennsylvania has plenty to offer.

The national tour of the movie turned musical “School of Rock” kicks off the PNC Broadway in Pittsburgh series, which also includes musical versions of “The Bodyguard” and “Waitress.”
