Chelsea have agreed terms with Spanish side, Atletico Madrid for the transfer of Diego Costa.

The move will be completed in January after a medical examination.

However, Costa will have to wait till January when Atletico’s transfer ban comes to an end, to be registered as a player.

Brazil-born Costa joined Chelsea from Atletico for a reported £32m three years ago.

Costa has not featured for Chelsea this season, after he was told through text message that he is not in Antonio Conte’s plan.
