The third edition of the Indian Photography Festival (IPF), kicked off in style at a city gallery on Thursday. Inaugurated by the Tourism Minister
Azmeera Chandulal, the do saw many artists and admirers of the art form flock the venue and interact with the international guests. While renowned Iranian-French photographer
Reza Deghati presented the keynote
address, the guests list included many eminent photographers from across the globe including
Andrea Bruce,
Cecilia Paredes, Kate Geraghty,
Q
Sakamaki and Stuart Franklin.
Over the next 18 days the festival will see 525 photographers from 40 countries exhibiting their art work
at various venues in the city. photo-walks, talks and workshops too will be held as part of impressive line-up of the festival.
