Verna's teaser hit us like a pile of bricks, but the film's latest song assures viewers that the film has its lighter moments too.

The new track 'Sambhal Sambhal Kay' shows Mahira Khan in love with Haroon Shahid's character, whom we know plays her husband in the film and has also lent his vocals for this song. You can listen to the full song here.

The couple is seen enjoying a picnic and some music while a photographer friend captures the memories.

'Sambhal', which also features Zeb Bangash, is an almost sappy love song that has us thinking it may be Verna's equivalent of Atif Aslam's 'Hona Tha Pyar' that featured in Bol.

We expect it will mark a sharp contrast with the rest of the film. We know Mahira will eventually embark on a quest for vengeance after surviving sexual assault.

Verna comes out on November 17.
