The accident caused a traffic jam preventing approach of ambulances
INDORE: Two persons, including a woman, were killed and 46 others sustained injuries when a bus carrying passengers to Ajmer durgah overturned in Neemuch district of Madhya Pradesh on Friday morning.
The bus, which was travelling at high speed, skidded on the road after overturning at a sharp turn and came to halt at Sagargram Bridge, Jeeran police station in-charge BL Bhabhar told TOI.

The accident was so severe that some of the passengers broke through the windscreens and fell into the rivulet running under the bridge.
As the bus skidded, several passengers trickled out of the bus and sustained critical abrasions, Bhabhar said adding one Sheikh Ghulam Ali, 42, died on the spot.
Villagers rushed to the spot and dragged the passengers out of the bus. The accident caused a traffic jam preventing approach of ambulances, thus some vacant trucks were stopped by the rescuers and the victims sent on them to the district hospital.
As many as 46 passengers sustained injuries in the accident, police said condition of eight passengers is critical.
A woman, Nasreen Bi, 49, died during treatment at the hospital.
The bus was ferrying around 69 passengers – all residents of West Bengal moving towards Ajmer Sharif Durgah to offer prayers.
