Time to get creative with your costume-making skills.

The MCM Birmingham Comic Con brings a colourful array of cosplayers and celebrities to the NEC twice a year.

And the second show is coming up this weekend.

It's a chance to dress up as your favourite superhero or sci-fi character - and to meet top stars from film and TV for autographs and photos.

Here's all you need to know.

When is the MCM Birmingham Comic Con?

The first one is in March and the second takes place in November.

The second one of 2017 will be on Saturday, November 18, and Sunday, November 19.

What are the opening times?

Opening times are 9am to 5pm on Saturday, and 9.30am to 5pm on Sunday.

Only those with priority entry tickets get in at 9am/9.30am, general entry is at 11am. See ticket options below.

Guests announced include Keith Allen, whose career includes roles in Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Robin Hood and Eddie the Eagle; Anthony Daniels, who played C-3PO in Star Wars; Pearl Mackie, who was Doctor Who companion Bill Potts alongside Peter Capaldi; and David Bradley, whose many credits include Game of Thrones, Harry Potter and Doctor Who.

Also there will be Denise Crosby (Star Trek: The Next Generation, The Walking Dead), Warwick Davis (Star Wars, Harry Potter), Red Dwarf actors Chris Barrie, Danny John-Jules and Robert Llewellyn, plus veteran actor Bernard Cribbins, Ian McElhinney (Barristan Selmy in Game of Thrones) and Andrew Lee Potts (Primeval).

You'll also be able to see Doctor Who actors Peter Davison and Colin Baker, along with Janet Fielding (Doctor Who), Sarah Sutton (Doctor Who), Angus Macinnes (Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope, Hellboy), John Morton (Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back , Flash Gordon) and Hugh Spight (Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi , Doctor Who, The Dark Crystal).

Autograph prices are around £15 to £20, photos with the guests are £20 to £25.

Ticket prices are as follows:

Saturday

£16 advance ticket for priority entry (9am), £20 priority entry at door

£11 advance ticket for general entry (11am), £15 general entry at door

Sunday

£16 advance ticket for priority entry (9.30am), £20 priority entry at door

£11 advance ticket for general entry (11am), £15 general entry at door

Weekend

£30 advance ticlet for priority entry each day

Last entry time is one hour before the show closes even if you have a valid ticket . Last re-entry is 30 minutes before the show closes.

During priority entry times, 2 children aged five and under are permitted free entry per paid for ticket.

After general entry has opened, 2 children aged 10 and under are permitted entry with each paid for ticket.

A £1 fee per ticket applies.

Advance tickets are e-tickets - no physical ticket is sent in the post.
