He recently embarked on a European tour with The Rolling Stones, their 48th since the legendary band were formed, after being given the go-ahead by doctors.

And Ronnie Wood was keen to keep himself in peak physical condition, embarking on a brisk jog in Paris on Monday.

Ronnie teamed the space-tastic jumper with comfy trainers and black jeans as he headed out on the relaxed jog.

The musician revealed he suffered with a lung cancer scare in August, telling Event magazine that he prepared to 'say goodbye' to his family following the diagnosis.

He said: ‘There was a week when everything hung in the balance and it could have been curtains – time to say goodbye. You never know what is going to happen.'

Ronnie revealed he first went for a general check-up after quitting smoking a year before, with the doctor finding 'a supernova burning away on my left lung,' as the singer described.

After a five hour operation on his lungs, Ronnie found out that the cancer had not spread to his lymph nodes, and was given the all-clear by doctors.

The father-of-six added: 'I’m OK now. But I’m going to have a check-up every three months. They caught it early. People have to get checked. Seriously have to get checked. I was bloody lucky but then I’ve always had a very strong guardian angel looking out for me. By rights I shouldn’t be here.’

Doctor's gave Ronnie the OK to embark on his latest tour, No Filter, with The Rolling Stones, and will head to Nanterre, Paris on Thursday for the final leg of shows.

The music legend also revealed that after quitting smoking and drinking, he enjoys spending most of his time with his 16 month old twins Gracie Jane and Alice Rose, and the tots have been seem joining their dad on the road.
