An elderly man was treated at the roadside following a three-car crash on the A1 this morning (October 26).
Heavy delays were reported in the area, and police advised motorists to avoid the scene, near Buckden, if at all possible.

This was called in at 8.24am and is on the southbound carriageway just before the roundabout at Buckden.
Three cars involved and not serious although an elderly man is being treated by paramedics.
