A now viral video of a Nashville nurse singing to a dying patient has touched the hearts of millions.

Margaret Smith was waiting for a liver transplant at Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she met her "angel," Ms. Olivia Neufelder.

Margaret passed away on Wednesday, but not before she heard her beloved nurse sing her favorite tune.

Crystal Hamilton Roberts, who posted the video, has been friends with Margaret for 15 years and was there for her when Margaret was diagnosed with cancer about a year ago.

Roberts said Olivia would sing to Margaret whenever she would ask. In the viral video taken on October 12, Olivia is singing "Dancing in the Sky" by Dani and Lizzie.

"Miss Marg has touched my heart in such an indescribable way. I am so humbled and honored to be a Nurse. My thoughts and prayers are forever with this amazing family," Olivia wrote in a Facebook post.

Margaret passed away six days after being told that she wouldn't be able to get a liver transplant.

Margaret told Roberts on several occasions that Olivia was an angel -- and Roberts says she knows that to be true. Olivia would talk and sing to Margaret in the weeks leading up to her death.

Roberts said she has been overwhelmed by the response she's gotten about the video and hopes it continues to carry an important message.

"There's always hope, there's always someone," Roberts said.

For Margaret, there was nurse Olivia.
