Proving his dedication to Freddie, the One Direction star - who has rekindled his romance with Eleanor Calder - reunited with Briana to celebrate the tot's first birthday in January.
The singer placed a hand gently on Freddie's back as the tot went to blow out the candle on his birthday cake.
Dressed smartly in a shirt and dark jeans, Freddie looked a little unsteady on his feet as he approached the personalised cake, which was decorated with a picture of himself and the words 'Happy Birthday Freddie'.
Following in dad's footsteps? It seems Louis is encouraging a music career for Freddie, as he shared a snap of him teaching the tot how to play electric guitar in July

The short clip of the moment was shared on Briana's Instagram account and soon attracted plenty of gushing comments from her followers.
At the time, Louis revealed that he found fatherhood 'super cool' and fondly recalled watching Freddie take his first steps.
Asked what he loves most about being a dad, he told 97.1 AMP Radio: 'All of it.'
'Any time he can do something new - I know he's not a dog, but for example, he just started taking his first few steps, which is like nothing else, but before that he was a little bit vocal.
'It’s constantly changing, but the whole thing is super cool,' he added.

And though he split with Briana months before Freddie's birth, the pair remain on good terms, with the stylist paying tribute to Louis's mother, Johannah Deakin, who died aged 43 last December after a secret battle with leukaemia.
She wrote on Instagram: 'My heart aches. Every time I look at Freddie, I see you in him Jay. I will always remember the times we shared and the talks we had.'
'I looked up to you and sadly only knowing you for a short time, I aspired to be just like you in a mother to Freddie.
She added: 'I promise to share with him all of what I know of you including your beautiful attributes. We both loved you very much. You'll always stay close forever in our hearts.'
