This vibrant fest, also known as the Pushkar Camel Fair or Pushkar Fair, is a colourful and vibrant display of unique exhibitions, exciting competitions and fascinating events. Besides, this fair is renowned for being one of the world’s largest cattle fair.

    The Pushkar Fair (Pushkar Camel Fair) or Pushkar Mela, as it is locally known as, is an annual week-long camel and livestock fair held in the town of Pushkar between the months of October and November. It is one of the world’s largest camel fairs. Apart from the buying and selling of livestock, it has become an important tourist attraction. competitions such as the ‘matka phod’, ‘longest moustache’ and ‘bridal competition’ are the main draws for this fair which attracts thousands of tourists. An exhibition cricket match between the local Pushkar Club and a team of foreign tourists is also fun to cheer for.

    FROM BENGALURU & CHENNAI: TOUR OF NILGIRIS (TFN)

    Tour of Nilgiris (TfN), an annual event, marks its 10th edition this year. TfN, to be hosted on Dec 10 – 17, 2017, is a circuit for seasoned cyclists, covering a distance of over 1,000 kms across Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Starting from Bengaluru, Cyclists will pedal through Mysuru, Madikeri, Sultan Bathery, Ooty and finish the tour by riding back to Mysuru.
