The River of Light festival takes place this Bonfire Night in Liverpool, with thousands expected to attend.

Visitors who want to watch the festivities in Liverpool are urged to head to the Pier Head for the best Bonfire Night atmosphere and spectacular views of the display.

The music and firework event takes place on the waterfront on Sunday, November 5, with the fireworks starting at 6.30pm.

There will be wonderful music and visual displays and it’s FREE.

There will also be family activities, street theatre and food and drink stalls.

Nationally renowned company Titanium Fireworks will take charge of the display and a spine-tingling soundtrack will accompany the fireworks, following feedback from last year’s festival.
