Mosquitno partners with JES Travel Retail in global expansion plans

Insect repellent specialist Mosquitno is partnering with JES Travel Retail as it plans to extend its footprint in global travel retail.

The collaboration underlines Mosquitno’s increasing emphasis on travel retail. New products launched at the recent TFWA World Exhibition & Conference include travel retail-exclusive lines.

Mosquitno’s travel retail-exclusive products will be available from spring 2018

Mosquitno said visitor numbers to its stand at the Cannes event increased +23% year-on-year. “The increase was primarily related to a +16.5% rise in pre-exhibition confirmed meetings, a figure that further reaffirms the Mosquitno expansion within the travel retail sector,” the company stated.

New launches included the Traveller, a pocket/handbag-sized atomiser-styled dispenser for the Mosquitno Family spray. The Wipe travel box is a lightweight, sealable box for the Mosquitno range of wipes.

Based on feedback from the travel retail sector, Mosquitno also introduced travel retail-exclusive lines, including aftersun and suncream products as well as nanotechnology bracelets. The new products will be available across global travel retail from spring 2018. Listings for two national airlines have been confirmed for winter 2018, Mosquitno said.

“Initial consultation indicated to us that the brand has ambitious plans for global travel retail, an example of which is the launch of travel retail-exclusive lines. Therefore we look forward to working with the head office in The Netherlands and the regional offices in LATAM, Middle East and Asia.”
