Corporate bits | Sands China participates in Caritas Charity Bazaar

Sands China Care Ambassadors participated in the 48th Caritas Macau Charity Bazaar over the weekend, making it the seventh straight year that the company has helped raise funds for the annual Caritas event.

A total of 100 Sands China Care Ambassadors were on hand volunteering at the two-day charity bazaar at the Nam Van Lake Nautical Centre.

On Saturday, Sands China Ltd. President Dr. Wilfred Wong presented a cheque for MOP200,000 to Caritas Macau Secretary-General Paul Pun during the opening ceremony of the bazaar. The donation will help support the operational expenses of the non-profit charitable organization.

Since 2004, Sands China has contributed more than MOP4.3 million to Caritas Macau through events such as charity runs and bazaars.
