Cheeky twins Cole and Corey Hebden put Hollywood actor Gerard Butler through his paces when they interviewed him ahead of his new movie.

The seven-year-old brothers from Hinckley posed some tough questions to the Scottish film star.

The question and answer session was LADbible, and took place at the luxurious Ham Yard Hotel in Soho, London, reports The Hinckley Times.

The young interviewers posed cheeky questions to the movie actor, such as "How many girls have you kissed?" and "Who would win in a fight - you or Russell Crowe?"

He was also asked to explain what global warming is, as his latest film is about using satellites to respond to extreme natural disasters.

The boys chose to wear spacesuit outfits for the interview, in keeping with the movie’s theme, and they were allowed to take them home along with scientist suits they would otherwise have worn.

Mum Kirsty said: “They weren’t sure who he was and they were very quiet when he came in.

“But afterwards they said that they really loved it. The director said he’d be happy to have the boys on again.”

Cole and Corey are pupils at Battling Brook Primary School in Hinckley, and have been training as actors and appearing in adverts for the past 18 months.

Ms Hebden regularly takes the twins down to London for their training and shoots.

She said: “The school have been really good and they support them 100 per cent.

“As long as they keep up with the school work, they don’t mind them having the time off.”

They featured in an advert for Belvoir estate agents earlier this year, and have been in other promotions for Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Royal Caribbean International.

Corey also appeared in 2017 short film Happy Birthday, You Loser, while their older sisters have done model shoots for an adoption campaign.

The boys will be making their next television appearance on a game show, with more details to emerge soon.

Mr Butler began his acting career in the 1990s with small roles in Mrs Brown and James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies, with his breakthrough role as King Leonidas in 2006 epic war film 300.
