Man rapes mentally challenged woman in Madhya Pradesh's Dewas dist

A man was caught red-handed raping a 23-year-old mentally challenged woman in a public urinal in Dewas district on Sunday.

INDORE: A man was caught red-handed while raping a 23-year-old mentally challenged woman in a public urinal in Dewas district in Madhya Pradesh on Sunday.
The accused, Govind Balai, had forcibly taken the woman to the public urinal in Dulwa village of Dewas district early in the morning, Nemawar police said.
A shopkeeper, Abhishek Jat, was opening his establishment when he heard commotion from the urinal and went to check, they said, adding, he saw the accused zipping his pants and the woman lying on the floor of the dirty urinal.

Jat raised an alarm following which people gathered and caught the accused. He was later turned over to the police.
The victim was later brushed to a hospital, where the doctors confirmed that she was raped, police said. Govind was booked under Section 376 of the IPC.
