Donald Trump’s motorcade was disrupted by a van driver who cut in and yelled expletives at the President.

As the US leader was travelling back to his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, the man intercepted the envoy of vehicles escorting Mr Trump.

“At one point a man in a red van attempted to cut into the motorcade,” a White House pool report stated.

“Local law enforcement pulled over the vehicle, where the driver made obscene gestures and screamed several expletives.”

The incident happened after his fourth consecutive day on the golf course over the Thanksgiving weekend.

Mr Trump announced he was playing with Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson, and returned to the White House.

He spent years attacking former President Barack Obama for playing golf, criticising his “work ethic”, but at his current rate, Mr Trump appears like to spend three times as much time on the golf course as his predecessor.

The motorcade incident comes shortly after a woman who gave his car the middle finger as she cycled past on her bike was fired from her marketing job at government contractor Akima LLC.

Juli Briskman told The Independent: “I just think he’s a jackass.”

Supporters have raised £43,800 for her after the image of her went viral.

She is also considering suing her former employer for alleged discrimination
