Modi in Gujarat highlights: PM says we are focusing on Padhai for students, Kamai for youth and Davai for elderl and we have transformed education sector in Gujarat

Both the BJP leaders will attend multiple rallies in Gujarat at various locations. The state will observe the first phase of polling on December 9, 2017.

Gujarat Assembly Elections: On December 9, 2017, the state of Gujarat will observe the first phase of Gujarat Assembly Elections. PM Modi has four rallies today in Dharampur, Valsad district, then in Bhavnagar, Junagadh, and Jamnagar of the Saurashtra region of Gujarat. Out of the four rallies scheduled for today, PM Modi has attended rallies in Dharampur and Bhavnagar. In both the rallies he has lashed out at Congress Party. Narendra Modi called the elevation of Rahul Gandhi in Congress party’s organisational restructure as ‘Aurangzebi Raj’. On the occasion of the election, the Chief Election Commissioner of India AK Joti, earlier, said that VVPAT machines will be used along with EVMs in all 50,264 voting booths of 182 constituencies in the state. In his multiple rallies in the state, the Prime Minister took a jibe at Congress. In his public rally in Gujarat’s Surendranagar, he said the party had a history of rigging organisational polls.

Assembly elections will be held for the 182 seat on December 9 and the second phase for the elections is scheduled for December 14. The counting is slated for December 18.

Here are highlights of Gujarat elections 2017 Campaign:

7:48 pm: PM pointed out during his speech that his government has started a strong battle against black money and corruption. He also said that unlike Congress the current government retaliated against Pakistan attacks through surgical strikes quickly.
