Basketball: Hamirpur eves clinch runner up trophy

Hamirpur, December 7

The women basketball team of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Government Postgraduate College won the runner up trophy of the HP University Inter-College Basketball Championship in Una.

The team was given a warm welcome by college students on their arrival here today. Speaking on the occasion, Pawan Verma, physical education lecturer, said the team could perform better. He said the players must put in their best efforts to achieve victory. He said Alka Kumari would represent the HP University team at the inter-university championship in December.
