KAKINADA : “Kakinada smart city project aims at bringing transformational changes in the everyday living experiences of over 3.25 lakh denizens of Kakinada, through real-time governance and efficient delivery of citizen services,” Municipal  Commissioner and Kakinada Smart City Corporation Limited (KSCCL) MD K Siva Parvathi has said.

Eminent national and international experts participated in the workshop at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi on December 8 and shared the insights on the implementation of smart city project in various sectors.
KSCCL CEO J Sujay Arun explained the system integrator project to Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of State (Independent Charge) in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
He said the strategic aim of system integrator project is to improve mobility and enhance public safety and security.

Optical fiber cable (120 km) 
LoRa network, Wi-Fi network 
CCTV surveillance system, smart street lighting system, smart poles 
Automatic vehicle locator system, solid waste management
Adaptive traffic control system, automatic number plate recognition
