Service of Jabalpur-Coimbatore-Jabalpur special trains extended
MANGALURU: Konkan Railway has decided to extend running of train 02198/02197 Jabalpur -Coimbatore - Jabalpur special to clear extra rush of passengers up to April 2, 2018 in co-ordination with West Central Railway.
Train 02198 Jabalpur – Coimbatore superfast special (weekly) will leave Jabalpur at 11am every Saturday from January 6 to March 31 and reach Coimbatore at 3.40am on third day. Train 02197 Coimbatore - Jabalpur superfast special (weekly) will leave from Coimbatore at 7.05pm every Monday from January 8 to April 2 and teach Jabalpur at 10.20am on the third day.
Train will halt at Narsinghpur, Gadarwara, Pipariya, Itarsi, Harda, Khandwa, Bhusaval, Manmad, Igatpuri, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Thivim, Madgaon, Karwar, Kumta, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Udupi, Mulki, Mangaluru junction, Kasaragod, Kanhangad, Payyanur, Kannur, Thalasaery, Vadakara, Kozhikode, Tirur, Shoranur junction and Palghat stations.
The trains will have 19 coaches including one composite (2 tier AC + 3 Tier AC) coach, two 3-tier AC coaches, 10 sleeper coaches, four general coaches and two SLR coaches.
