The Golden Globes 2018 nominations have been revealed, with HBO’s worldwide sensation Game Of Thrones only scooping one nomination.

The show bagged a nomination in arguably the biggest category of all, Best Television Series, alongside Stranger Things, The Crown, The Handmaid’s Tale and This Is Us.

While still an achievement, it’s perhaps surprising the show was snubbed across the acting categories, with Lena Headey having been nominated last year for Best Supporting Actress In A Series, Miniseries, Or Motion Picture for TV.

The show was also nominated last year in the Best Television Series category, but lost out to Netflix’s The Crown.

Many fans haven’t let this year’s acting snub slide though.

Elsewhere, Stranger Things bagged two nominations in Best Television Series and Best Actor for David Harbour.

Amazon’s The Marvelous Mrs Maisel also received two worthy nods for actress Rachel Brosnahan and in the Best Television Series Comedy category.

Game Of Thrones final season meanwhile is currently expected to air in 2019, with actress Sophie Turner recently confirming the date.
