Gabriel Guerrier's 4 goals lead Westwood boys to 5th win of season

Gabriel Guerrier scored four goals Monday to help Fort Pierce Westwood High School's boys soccer team defeat Lincoln Park Academy 6-1 at Westwood.

Ashler Alce added one goal and one assist for Fort Pierce Westwood (5-1-1). Richard Edmond had the other goal, the first of his career.

Gassendy Etienne and Andres Castro had two assists apiece. Miguel Guadarrama had the other assist and Jose Villalta made one save.

Fort Pierce Westwood plays Wednesday against Palm Bay.

Sebastian River 6, Port St. Lucie 1: Julian Arreola had one goal and three assists as the Sharks remained undefeated.

Ryan Cordner had one goal and one assist for Sebastian River (4-0-1), which has outscored opponents 16-3. Adan Zendejas, Kevin Magellanes, Chris Cordner and Jose Vargas scored the other goals.

Tyler Nagy had the other assist and Andrew Angelone made two saves.

Jermaine Gerzong scored on an assist from Victor Alvarado for Port St. Lucie (1-7-1).

Ryan Burdick made nine saves.

Sebastian River hosts Vero Beach on Tuesday. Port St. Lucie hosts Titusville on Friday.

South Fork 2, St. Lucie West Centennial 0: Edgar Perez and Emmanuel Andres scored goals to lead the Bulldogs to a win at Tropical Farms.

Cesar Suarez-Castro had one assist for South Fork (4-2-1). Alex Barker earned his first shutout.

Mike Smith made 10 saves for Centennial (3-2-3).

South Fork plays Tuesday against Fort Pierce Central. Centennial plays Wednesday against Palm Beach Gardens.

The Pine School 2, Benjamin 2: JJ Lacorte scored both goals as the Knights tied the Bucs at Palm Beach Gardens.

Grey Waxman had one assist and Will Baretta made five saves for Pine School (4-2-2).

Benjamin is 3-2-1.

The Pine School hosts St. Edward's at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Holy Trinity Episcopal 4, St. Edward's 0: The Tigers (2-1-3, 2-0-1 district) won a District 10-1A game at Pirate Field in Vero Beach.

Britt Reisman made seven saves for St. Edward's (5-1-1, 2-1).

St. Edward's plays at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Pine School.

Girls soccer

Pine School 4, Somerset College Prep 2: Hannah Squier scored two goals and assisted on another as the Knights won on Bonneville Field at Hobe Sound.

Lauren Lurgio had one goal and one assist, Maddie Nield added one goal and Claire Barber had one assist for Pine School (3-6). 

Alyssa Schoette made 14 saves.

Kayla Nguyen and Esthefany Caldeon scored the goals for Somerset College Prep (4-5). Stephanie Cuello had both assists.

Bolles (Jacksonville) 3, Vero Beach 0 (Saturday): The Bulldogs blanked the Fighting Indians in the Women's Invitational Showcase at Montverde.

Mallory Padgett made six saves for Vero Beach (5-3-1).

The Indians scored five goals and allowed six in the tournament, which draws some of the top teams in Florida and the South.

Vero Beach hosts Treasure Coast on Tuesday.

Wrestling

Danny Byron Memorial: Three Jensen Beach wrestlers — Wyatt Kirkham (132), Jack Sopotnick (170) and Chad Nix (195) — went 6-1 to finish second in the Gold pool in their weight class Saturday in the Danny Byron Memorial tournament at Kissimmee-Osceola.

Caelin Casciano (145) and Blake Wiswell (182) went 5-3 and finished runner-up in the Gold pool.

Sean Fitzgerald (220) went 5-3 and was the Silver pool runner-up while Terrance Dore (145) finished 4-2 to win the Bronze pool.

Jensen Beach wrestles in the district duals Wednesday at Okeechobee.

Inaugural MyHouse Southeastern Classic: Okeechobee finished eighth out of 11 teams in the inaugural MyHouse Southeastern Classic at Space Coast High School.

Justin Drawdy finished runner-up with a 6-1 record at 285 pounds. Drawdy pinned five opponents. His loss was by fall to Yulee's Mckenzie Lewis.

Todd Arlington finished third at 220 with a 4-3 record in the round-robin format. Cody Deloney went 6-3 at 138 to finish fourth.
